Who is Cornerstone Church? In Matthew 28, Jesus gave his "Great Commission": "Go therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:" (Matthew 28:19-20) Cornerstone Church believes that teaching people to be disciples of Jesus Christ is the primary purpose of a Christian Church. Our Mission is "laying a foundation for life", as outlined for us in Ephesians chapter 2: "So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord" (Ephesians 2:19-21) Come and grow with us as we experience all of the abundant life that Jesus came to give to us (John 10:10). "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." (Hebrews 10:24-25) What can you Expect?"Come and see" (John 1:39). Cornerstone Church meets every Sunday morning in room 104 of the Eola Community Center (see sidebar on right for address and Mapquest map and directions). Our worship service generally follows this format:
Join us on Sundays, or watch our Events Calendar for additional opportunities to "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). Statement of FaithWe believe:
